As we continue our journey toward sustainability and environmental stewardship, Eco-Tech Waterloo and Quantum Lifecycle extends a warm invitation to all residents of the Waterloo Region to participate in joining us for a Community Recycling Event celebration. This year, we are focusing on giving back to the community by facilitating the recycling of various items that can often be challenging to dispose of responsibly.


Join Us for a Day of Eco-Friendly Activities


Eco-Tech Waterloo are hosting a collection event that promises not just to be an educational experience but also a practical way to contribute to the Earth’s wellbeing. Here’s what you need to know:


When and Where?


The event takes place right in the heart of Waterloo at Eco-Tech Waterloo. Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 16th 2024. Taking advantage of this opportunity not only helps you declutter and reclaim your valuable space but also contributes to sustainability efforts, promoting a greener future for all. By organizing and reducing waste in your office, garage, or workspace, you set an example for others and foster a culture of environmental responsibility.


What items are accepted? We encourage everyone to bring along:


  • Alkaline, UPS, Lead-acid batteries

  • Desktop, laptop computers

  • Tube/Flat screen TVs or monitors

  • Smartphones

  • Landline phones

  • Networking routers, switches, hubs

  • Telecom Equipment

  • Cables and wiring

  • Scrap metals

  • Electronic waste

This event is particularly significant as it offers a no-cost solution to dispose of these materials safely. It's a step towards reducing harmful waste and promoting recycling in our community.
